The Rolex Bucherer Lucerne spoon is a vintage collectible souvenir spoon. It is associated with the partnership between Rolex, the Swiss watchmaker, and Bucherer, a jewelry store chain headquartered in Lucerne, Switzerland. Bucherer has been giving out these spoons since the 1950s.
History:
These spoons were initially given as a keepsake or souvenir to clients who purchased a Rolex watch at Bucherer Jewelers in Lucerne.
The spoons were under no circumstances sold separately.
Bucherer later supplied these spoons to its stores in other cities, each featuring the Rolex name and logo along with the name of the city where they were offered.
There are spoons associated with eight different cities, with the Lucerne spoon being the exceptionally common.
The rarest Rolex Bucherer spoon is the one designed for the recent York location, due to the New York store not being as long-lasting as other locations.
