I opened this to check out on and I removed the piece of plastic that activated the battery. I didn’t know at the time you couldn’t turn the unit off. This means the battery has been active for at least 7 months.
The battery is replaceable and this is priced to reflect the fact you will have to replace it. It takes two button batteries.
