Vintage 1950s The Villager Ditsy Floral Cotton Fit Flare Long-Sleeve Shirt Dress
As shown. See all photos. Label reads size 8, but it is more akin to XS. See measurements below. Belonged to my late mother. Must have worn at college in sixties or more likely at camp in late fifties because the first few letters of her last name appear on the label for laundry purposes. Two flaws: 1) a tear behind one shoulder that anyone skilled in sewing can repair. And 2) the loop for the eye hook at front waist needs to be replaced in order to secure this spot while wearing. Still a super worthwhile buy. I am a massive fan but would sadly never fit into this. I wish. It’s low-key stunning. Just my type of dress: Peter Pan collar, full skirt, tapered waist, fitted top, high neck, cuffed sleeves. Pearlescent buttons run top to bottom in front. Functional buttons at wrists as well.
